Rocky Mountain Pickleball is working toward bringing a new tournament, the Aspen Open, to this legionary Colorado mountain town. We're not quite there yet, but remain optimistic that needed pieces to the puzzle will come together. Staging of this tournament will require collaborative efforts from several entities. Rocky Mountain Pickleball will continue seeking local support, cooperation, and partners to achieve hosting what will be a special mountain town tournament.

Aspen may no longer be a sleepy little mining town, but it and the neighboring town of Snowmass Village, remain an amazing Colorado mountain destination throughout all seasons of the year. The Victorian homes nestled in the Aspen's West End share this special place with an eclectic mix of people, architecture and the magnificent Rocky Mountains which surround the town and form the Roaring Fork Valley. Over the past few years, pickleball has joined the other sports and pastimes both locals and visitors to Aspen/Snowmass are enjoying in this mountain paradise.

Rocky Mountain Pickleball is currently exploring potential venues suitable for hosting the Aspen Open pickleball tournament. As plans for what will be a special tournament evolve, our team will continue reaching out to the local Aspen/Snowmass community for assistance in making the Aspen Open a reality.
